Registration is open for DrupalCon Asia
We're happy to announce that registration for DrupalCon Asia is now open. We're very excited for you to join us in Mumbai for the convention this February, and hope that you'll keep reading for more information on how to use the payment system for this Con.
Just as a note: Due to some unexpected delays with implementing the payment system, we've pushed back the Earlybird price change deadline to December 16. You now have an extra two weeks to purchase tickets at a steepy reduced rate. All of our other price-change deadlines remain the same.
Payment Walkthrough
In order to make DrupalCon Asia happen, we're partnering with IITB and are using local payment processor Townscript for our registrations.
When registering for DrupalCon Asia you will follow the same process that you have used for any of our Cons, by selecting your tickets on the registration page - providing your registration details, and proceeding through the checkout process.
Once you've completed your registration information you can proceed to payment.

Clicking Process Order will take you through our payment process with Townscript. You will see a summary of the tickets you have selected, discounts such as our early bird discount applied, and the 14.5% service tax.
You cannot change ticket quantities on this page - so if this information is not correct - you may need to go back to https://asia2016.drupal.org/registration and begin again.

Once you click proceed - you will be shown the name, email, phone number, and order number that have been passed into the payment system from our system. You can't edit these values, so just click Continue.

You'll be asked one more time to confirm that your cart is correct. Click Proceed to continue.

You will have one final chance to confirm your billing details. If it is not already pre-filled, check the 'Same as..' box and your information should be filled. Then just click Proceed.

And then at last you will be able to enter your Debit Card details, Credit Card details, or use Net Banking if you have a Net Banking account in India.

Once your payment is complete you will be returned to our thank you page where you can find information about travel, and applying for a visa. Please note that the charge will come from an Indian company, so if you are charging your card from outside of India you might receive a call from your credit card company verifying the purchase.
You will also receive several emails - a receipt email and confirmation email from Townscript, as well as a receipt and confirmation email from events.drupal.org.
If you have any questions - please contact us.
