Useful apps for travelers in India
It's hard to believe that we're only two months out from DrupalCon Asia! Nearly half of our speakers at the Con are coming in from outside of the country, and we're anticipating the same for our attendees.
If you're planning on attending DrupalCon Asia and aren't a resident of India, please make sure you get your letter of invitation before the deadline closes on Tuesday, December 15, at 11:59 PM IST. Everyone coming in from outside the nation will need a visa, so these letters of invitation are essential to all international DrupalCon Asia attendees.
While you're gearing up to travel to the Con, you may also be interested in several popular apps that are used all over the country. Check out the infographic below from our friends over at Niswey to see what apps are popular for day-to-day life. And if you're wondering why it's 10+1 apps, the answer is fun: when giving a rounded number of things to someone in India (for example, 10 items), it's customary to add in one more for luck.
See you in Mumbai!

The Drupal Association has partnered with Niswey, an India-based marketing firm, to provide marketing materials for DrupalCon Asia. Every few weeks, we'll be sharing the blogs and comic strips that our Niswey friends have created in anticipation of the convention.
